Snow Summit is one of Big Bear's two major ski resorts and has been a Southern California winter sports destination since 1952. With a summit elevation of 8,200 feet and a vertical drop of 1,200 feet, the resort offers 240 acres of skiable terrain across 31 runs served by 14 lifts, including two high-speed quads.

The resort caters to all skill levels, from gentle beginner slopes near the base to challenging black diamond runs at the summit. Night skiing is available on select evenings, allowing visitors to carve turns under the lights until 9 PM. For those who prefer a more relaxed snow experience, the Grizzly Ridge Tube Park offers thrilling tubing lanes with a convenient magic carpet lift back to the top.

Snow Summit also offers a full-service ski and snowboard school with group and private lessons for all ages. The base lodge features dining options, equipment rentals, and a retail shop. During summer months, the resort transforms into a mountain biking and hiking destination with lift-served access to miles of trails.
